Experimental Design
Experimental Design
Randomly selected neighborhoods that meet low income criterion and are safe enough to conduct field study. Randomly pick locations for pick up in those locations. Funder will not know where/when study is taking place.
Experimental Design Details
Randomization Method
Identify pool of qualified neighborhoods and assign randomized number via Excel and pick top 5. Arbitrarily pick 20 spots that seem like good pick ups for call taxi and Uber summons in each neighborhood. Again assign each a randomized selected number for Uber and pick the top 10. Make those your rider course.
Randomization Unit
Locations and neighborhoods will both be randomized
Was the treatment clustered?
No
