Experimental Design

Experimental Design
We will have seven between-subject treatment conditions that vary the decision environment in which individuals make investment decisions.
Experimental Design Details
Please see the attached pdf for details.
Randomization Method
Qualtrics randomization.
Randomization Unit
Randomization at the individual participant level.

Experiment Characteristics

Sample size: planned number of clusters
800
Sample size: planned number of observations
800
Sample size (or number of clusters) by treatment arms
One treatment with a sample size of 200 (3-Dice PastData treatment) and six treatments with a sample size of 100 each. This will yield a total sample size of 800.
Minimum detectable effect size for main outcomes (accounting for sample design and clustering)
