Experimental Design

Experimental Design
We provide information on economics and economic history to university students in short lectures in a randomized setting.
Experimental Design Details
We provide information on economics and economic history to university students in short lectures. Students are randomized into a treatment and control group. The students in the treatment group view an economic history lecture on a historical women's protest in Nigeria. Students in the control group view an environmental economics lecture on the economics of epidemics. We examine the effects of the women's history information treatment on gender gaps in political engagement and participation.
