Abstract
In this study, visual cognitions were measured through tasks and the scale consists of three subscales i.e., memory, attention, and discrimination and the mood was measured through I-PANAS-SF. The game was administered as an intervention and the effect of the game and unpleasant stimulus was checked on deaf individuals and normal individuals. this experiment was performed on deaf and normal individuals via psychopy.

Primary Outcomes

Primary Outcomes (end points)
The primary outcome is Visual Cognition
Primary Outcomes (explanation)
The primary variable is measured through different visual cognitive tasks. The visual cognitive scale consists of three subscales i.e. attention, memory, and discrimination and all of the tasks are based on the theories.

Secondary Outcomes

Secondary Outcomes (end points)
The secondary outcome is mood.
Secondary Outcomes (explanation)
The secondary outcome is mood which is measured through I-PANAS-SF

Experimental Design

Experimental Design
This is a parallel, double-blind, block-related, randomized experimental study.
Experimental Design Details
Randomization Method
Randomization is done through a permuted block size of 3 through computer-generated randomization.
Randomization Unit
Individual randomization for intervention.
Was the treatment clustered?
No

Experiment Characteristics

Sample size: planned number of clusters
2 schools, 1 college and 1 university
Sample size: planned number of observations
120 individuals
Sample size (or number of clusters) by treatment arms
60 deaf individuals and 60 normal individuals
Minimum detectable effect size for main outcomes (accounting for sample design and clustering)
