Primary Outcomes

Primary Outcomes (end points)
- Primary outcomes: We will elicit respondent's preferences for couple equity for an hypothetical situation where they have a partner and a young child. Additionally, we will elicit respondent’s willingness to promote men’s involvement in the household through
an incentivized donation decision. See the pre-analysis plan for more details on the construction of our primary outcomes.
- Secondary outcomes: We will elicit individual beliefs about the benefits and costs of different labor supply choices and respondent's policy preferences. See pre-analysis plan for more details on the construction of our secondary outcomes.

Experimental Design

Experimental Design
Survey participants will be randomly assigned into a treatment and control group. Before the primary and secondary outcomes are elicited, the treatment group will receive information about men's preferences for couple equity, based on information gathered in a previous survey. See the pre-analysis plan for a detailed description of the experimental design.

Experiment Characteristics

Sample size: planned number of clusters
3,000 per country
Sample size: planned number of observations
3,000 per country
Sample size (or number of clusters) by treatment arms
The 3,000 respondents (per country) have an equal (50%) chance of being randomized into the treatment or control group.
Minimum detectable effect size for main outcomes (accounting for sample design and clustering)
