Before
The "OneSky" early childhood intervention programme, delivered by Half the Sky Foundation, aims to promote early childhood development and maternal-child interactions in rural China. The overarching goal of Half the Sky is to ensure every child receives the loving care and nurture necessary for not only surviving but thriving in today’s society. The Intervention package: Family Skills training in small group and through home visits, for 6 m-6; ECD intervention for 3-6; Community engagement.
We will evaluate this programme. Evaluation will be by cluster randomised controlled trial. We will assess child development and conduct household and village surveys before and after the intervention on a sample of n=4000 children in 60 villages in Ye County, Henan Province, China.

The Intervention programme includes three component: Family Skill, Preschool, and Community Engagement. Family Skills component for children aged 6-36 month and their caregivers; Preschool component for children aged 3-6 year; Community engagement component provide community support to children aged 0-6 year.
