Abstract
This trial, which is called "Carrot and a Stick", evaluating ways of using punishment and rewards to encourage pro-social behavior. You have been invited because we would like to see how individuals react to different combinations of reward and punishment and show which works best for encouraging people to contribute to a public good.

Intervention(s)
Intervention was three central authorities with a limit they had for incentives, which was split differently between reward and punishment in different central authorities. One was reward only, punishment only and one had an equal mix of both.

Experimental Design

Experimental Design
Four treatments, one a control which is a common public goods game and three are central authority treatments. One central authority uses only reward, one only punishment and the last an even combination of both.

The participants did one treatment each, it was a betwen group design. The participants do a quiz to test their comprehension as well as a survey to reveal their demographic info and their risk attitude.
