Abstract
With this experiment, we want to study the effect of different leadership styles on performance in small teams. More specifically, we want to explore whether a team with a more collaborative leader who seeks joint solution fares better than one which has a more traditional leader.

Interventions

Experimental Design

Experimental Design
Apprentices at a local bank are randomly put into teams of 3-4 people. They elect a person. In the preparation phase, they decide on a team name and plan their approach. In the memory phase, they are given a map and asked to memorize as a team building names and locations without taking notes or talking to each other. In the decision phase, the map is taken away and participants are given 20 questions about the map. The team with most correct answers wins a monetary prize.
