Abstract
Our goal is to design and evaluate a digital program delivered via mobile phone that provides relevant information and motivation for changing how people manage their money. Our mymoney program has been tailored to meet the needs of the Latino community, and focused on Latino adults between the ages of 18-65. This pilot study will use an interactive digital platform newly developed by the team (Kuxaan) where participants will complete educational activities and surveys. The study will also pilot the use of a platform for digital education programs. We will evaluate experience of participants with digital experience through our records of completed activities online and surveys. We will also conduct focus groups in-person, online, or in combination among participants to learn about their experience with program/platform. We will invite stakeholders to participate as program participants to provide feedback on experience with program/platform via focus groups.

Interventions

Intervention(s)
The intervention will be conducted over the course of 4 weeks. Participants will use a proprietary software called Kuxaan, designed as a robust infrastructure to support educational content delivery, offering users a seamless and secure experience. Participants will received one message per week that will invited them to complete program activities in online platform. We will also send reminders to encourage completion of activities online and motivation for behavioral change in relation to personal finances. Participants will complete one survey at the beginning of the study and one survey at the end of the duration of the program online in Qualtrics. These surveys will be completed online and take approximately 5-10 minutes per survey. It will consist of two activities per week.
