Our study implements two treatments within a digital hackathon to test the innovative performance implications of a winner-takes-all relative to a multiple prize reward structure. To do this, we randomly assign reward structures within a digital hackathon. Our treatment groups are as follows:
1) Winner-takes-all reward structure
2) Multiple prizes reward structure
