Experimental Design

Experimental Design
Description is provided in the hidden part.
Experimental Design Details
The experiment can be divided into four steps.
Step 1: conduct a lab experiment testing the subjects' risk/ambiguity/time/social preference.
Step 2: let the subjects experience different pay schemes as well as the consequent productivity and earnings.
Step 3: ask the subjects to fill a questionnaire on their preference for pay schemes under different circumstance, and tell them their choice will decide their pay schemes on some future dates.
Step 4: assign subjects into different pay schemes based on exogenous assignment or endogenous choice.
Randomization Method
Randomization will be done in STATA.
Randomization Unit
Individual.
Was the treatment clustered?
No

Experiment Characteristics
