The following update was made after data from 24 recipients had already been collected: Additionally, there will be three control/reference conditions: A minimum of 450 participants will be sent a video designed by an international health organization, 450 will be sent a video from a Kenyan health worker, and 750 will be sent a pure control with no video content.
Note that these sample sizes reflect the minimum number of individuals receiving the survey containing the video, and some may not open the survey and view the content. The analytic sample of the study consists of those who open the survey and view the video. Any attrition before viewing the video occurs pre-treatment and is thus orthogonal to assignment.
