Abstract
This document specifies the analyses for a randomized evaluation of the impact of campaign promises regarding gender and young voters in eastern Turkey. Elections were held on May 14th and runoff elections on May 28th. Preliminary results are anticipated by the end of the month.

Experimental Design

Experimental Design
Randomization was at the neighborhood level. Randomization is stratified by district and vote share for the national coalition in the previous election. There are two treatment arms and one control group. Due to the small number of treated neighborhoods, we only have statistical power to detect major effects. As we may lack the power to test smaller effects, this experiment could serve as a pilot for future studies.
