Abstract
We test for correlation sensitive preferences and extent results of Loewenfeld and Zheng (2021). First, we aim to replicate results from a task in which subjects have to choose between two lotteries with the same marginal distribution for subjects from the general Chinese population. Second, we test for correlation sensitive preferences in choices between first-order-stochastic dominant and dominated lotteries and explore the role of task complexity in this setting.

Interventions

Intervention(s)
We run an online experiment in which we test for correlation sensitive preferences. For details about the design, see the document "design_PAP.pdf".

Primary Outcomes

Primary Outcomes (end points)
For same marginal lotteries: Frequency of choices of the lottery with positive relative skewness.
For FOSD lottery pairs: Frequencies of choices of the dominant lottery under different correlation structures. Preference reversals due to changes in the correlation structure. For details, see the document "design_PAP.pdf".
