Abstract
In this study, we use an experimental survey design to elicit individuals' preferences for workplace characteristics and knowledge about workplace compensation packages.

We randomise information on pay and non-pay workplace characteristics in itemised survey questions where respondents provide ratings, i.e. item choices. We use respondents' choices to estimate their willingness to pay for workplace characteristics and knowledge about workplace compensation packages.

Experimental Design

Experimental Design
The experimental design uses within-subject randomisation of information on pay and non-pay workplace characteristics. Each respondent faces a sequence with choices between job packages with different kinds of information on pay and non-pay workplace characteristics. At each choice, the respondent is asked to choose their preferred job alternative.
